The_Captain (280), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 24, 2008 Amber brown with minimal head and lacing but good carbonation throughout. Hops and caramel on the low down, slight sweet and smooth. Seemed to taste better as it got warmer somewhat like a german ale. Not bad but middle of the road.
Holdwine (827), Beertimore, Maryland, USA Aug 28, 2008 An okay amber, maybe it gets a igher rating for nostalgia. Fruity nose, mellow taste, easy to drink. smjohnst (124), , Pennsylvania, USA Aug 25, 2008 Thought this was an ok Amber. It didn’t have the weird aftertaste that alot of ambers seem to but it also didnt have a great look or overwhelming flavor. GAManiac (283), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Aug 20, 2008 Pours a deep amberish copper with a small bubbly off-white head that dissipated to a ring fairly quickly, leaving almost no lacing. The aroma is a mix of generic grains and sweet bready malts. The taste was big on the sweet malts with a sourish, almost metallic finish. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with decent carbonation with the lingering sourness being a little off-putting. This is a fair amber, but not one that I would buy again. unclemattie (1568), Georgia, USA Aug 19, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a sparkling copper/amber, thin white head. Aroma is a bit nutty, lots of bread. Fruity Breckenridge ale yeast bread smell. Flavor is a crisp bittereness with a bread malt. A light roast, light nut, and light caramel malt flavor notes. Very clean and refreshing. I could drink this beer every day. the perfect session. I wonder if this is a single hop beer, it seems so simple. So enjoyable. roder_60 (871), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 17, 2008 Pours clear light amber brown color with slight bubbly manilla head. Aroma sweet thin caramel corn mix with slight nuttiness. Flavor bit watery with some caramel and nuttines. Also slight earthy hop finish. Overall, average.
