Aug 6, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. A deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of nuts as well as a light touch of butter. The flavor is sweet with notes of butter, nuts, caramel, and butterscotch, leading to a dry vanilla finish. Was the line cleaned for this?

Oct 25, 2007 Draft @ the Breckenridge brewpub: Grrrh back to the diacetyl. Poured a clear dark golden brown color with an off-white head. Moderate amounts of diacetyl but not as huge as some of the other beers they had on tap. There was an increase though as the beer warmed up. Some sweetness. The flavor was of roasted malt and butterscotch..
