Commercial Description:
The chill of a Colorado high-country winter calls for a beer with extra flavor and strength. Here it is. At over 7% alcohol, with a sturdy texture and rich flavors of caramel and chocolate, our holiday seasonal is the fermented equivalent of a good fire.
The ultimate winter warmer.

Dark brown with a frothy beige head. Very malty with alcohol very apparent in the nose. Flavour is sweet, spicy with an acidic, warming finish.

Bottle from S&K Beverages in Plano, TX. Pours a dark brown with red hue’s, offwhite head. Aroma of fruit notes and some caramel, hops. Flavor is semi sweet with caramel, fruit, hops, with nice hop bitter, alcohol spice. Mouth feel is medium with high carbonation. Overall, good stuff.

Pours a thin almost clear light brown. Strong rye aroma with some cloves the peak a bit as it warms up along with some liquorish. Tangy spice flavor with some nuttyness, but then it dies down to merky water. Palate is thin, the beer is boring.

Pours a dark reddish copper colour with a medium size tan head. Lacing is intriquite, Aroma is slightly nutty and a times a bit yeasty. Nice, pleasent mouthfeel. Very smooth with rich flavors.

It definately reminded me of Christmas with its spicy notes. Too bad it’s seasonal.
