Strong rye aroma with some cloves the peak a bit as it warms up along with some liquorish. Tangy spice flavor with some nuttyness, but then it dies down to merky water. Palate is thin, the beer is boring. phishpond417 (1459), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jul 21, 2008 Pours a dark reddish copper colour with a medium size tan head. Lacing is intriquite, Aroma is slightly nutty and a times a bit yeasty. Nice, pleasent mouthfeel. Very smooth with rich flavors. FlyFishingBob (11), Clinton Township, Michigan, USA Jun 10, 2008 It definately reminded me of Christmas with its spicy notes. Too bad it’s seasonal.
