Hate to give one so low for a newly entered beer. From a growler which seemed tightly sealed overnight. Hazy yellow flat. Very little aroma but seems brlgian yeasty and estery with some orange and little indistinct hops. Mouth is chaulky flat. Tastes like chaulky bitter orange juice. Not working. Hope it was just the growler and or keg.

FIRST rating of this, which comes as a surprise, since it was purchased on draft at Good Beer in New York, a long way from the brewery. GH is a malty, sweet golden ale with an American hop finish. There are some Belgian fruit and yeast tones, but the APA feel is pretty strong. It is not a great abbey ale, but its decent overall. I was not crazy about the mix of flavor elements.
