Strong and sweet whiskey aroma, with malt, wood, sugar, and a bit of hoppy bitterness. Taste is crisp and clean, of malt, juicy dark fruits, sugar, a hint of smoke, and woodsy whiskey underneath it all. Lingering clean wood and malt, with kind of a small, watery mouthfeel. Tasty BA ale, very drinkable.

a beer with a butterscotch character. a little oily and the whiskey comes thru Irish like and strong making the brew a little harsh. seemingly a bit of fruit and some fermented broomstraw the brew has a holiday red plum cast. could take your mind of things. little pine and a little cherry (cough medicine like).

The aroma is bourbon, cherries. The appearance is clear amber, off-white head. The flavor is bourbon, fruity, cherries. The finish is bourbon, pine needles. Medium in body, a tad thin. Not bad.

Drought. Dark brown with tan creamy head, good long retention, slight chocolate aroma, average carbonation, a hint of sour cherry in your taste buds, long finish. Nice smooth ale.

On tap at Tap and Handle in Fort Collins... the nose is bold with the Stanahans aging apparent even before you get the glass to your face. Bold whiskey with muted cinamon and winter spices in the background. Smooth mouthfeel gives a nice pleasant body to the experience.

Draft. Deep brown. Huge foamy head. Tastes and smells of Carmel and malt. Pretty sweet and syrupy. Not bad
