3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Mahoning (15) - - FEB 27, 2012
Overall a very underwhelming IPA. Aromas similar to a lager, with similar tastes as well. Very little hop flavor , especially in the finish.

Long Island, NY - 12 oz. bottle poured a hazy orange color with moderate head and slight lacing. It may be possible that this bottle was past it’s prime. Aroma was of floral hops with a steak of pine. Taste was balanced but there was nothing set this this one apart from other run of the mill IPA’s ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 jhamp9 (366) - Corinth, Texas, USA - FEB 20, 2012
Pours a hazy dark amber with a thin white head. Aroma was floral and grapefruit hops. Taste was piney hops and stale water. Bitterness is instantly noticeable and not bad, but there is an unpleasant aftertaste.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 valpoaj (392) - Valparaiso, Indiana, USA - FEB 19, 2012
got a sixer for a gift and since my iPad is getting me to rate more again...figured I’d give this a whirl. aroma is faint for an IPA...and not particularly endearing. awesome appearance though...incredible lacing on glass with a good deep copper hue. flavor is mostly bitter piney hops...and I’ve noted some considerable bottle to bottle inconsistency. palate is a bit harsh but nothing bad. beer is not offensive but with such a great selection of IPAs around, I probably won’t rush back for another of these soon.

12 oz. can from SoHo Organic Market in Elizabeth City, NC. Dark orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of tangerines and grassy hops. Bitter floral hop flavor with some spiciness on the finish. An average to just slightly above average IPA.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 VTHopHead (1387) - Barre, Vermont, USA - FEB 12, 2012
Bottle/12oz - Pours a clear orange amber in color with a small off-white head that produced some minor lacing on the glass. Aroma is slightly malty with plenty of pine and citrus hops. Flavor is hoppy... pine mostly with some balance from the caramel malts. Mildly bitter finish. OK... average IPA...
3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 IPAaDay (5) - USA - FEB 10, 2012 does not count
Great every day IPA...and one I can easily pick up from the grocery store. I prefer it over my other easily gotten choices although it’s not in the same league as my favorites...Stone Ruination for one. I don’t quite think it a gateway-IPA, as I imagine anyone who doesn’t typically like hoppy beers won’t be persuaded otherwise. Final verdict--I could easily drink it everyday.

Clear old gold with a light head cover and full lace. Taste is typical American IPA: light malt with a quick domination by piney hops. Good as far as it goes, but mostly a choice for hop-lovers.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DSG (3005) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 5, 2012
Bottle. Hazy amber color with medium, bubbly, off-white head. Nice hoppy aroma of grapefruit, some pineapple and lychee notes, floral notes and some caramelly malt. Fruity hops flavor with a bit of malty sweetness and a moderately bitter finish. Medium-bodied. A nice quaffable IPA.
