We like to think this is an ale for everyone who believes you make your own luck. We sure did. And the result is a well-balanced, soulful IPA with just the right amount of hoppiness. An even keeled ale that goes down clean and refreshing, but still lets you know itís been doted on by the Brewmaster. Itís true to itís IPA heritage, but also highly drinkable. Lucky U. And we seriously mean that.

Reviewed from notes. Consumed April 13, 2013. The appearance is a cloudy orange body with a one finger white foamy head rises and falls leaving some clingy spider web lacing. The smell has some faded hops and malts somewhat bitter yet combined for the most part. The taste is a bland bittersweet through previously mentioned flavors with a dry sweet aftertaste and a dry finish. The palate is a light to medium, and somewhat sessionable. Overall, well, Im not sure how fresh this is, something seems off, so until then Iíll only seek fresher.

Bottle. Pours unfiltered gold. Nondescript nose, some malt overtones. Little bit of hops bitterness up front but they don't really stand out. Medium mouthfeel. Decent but nothing special ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This was a great brew. Very happy and refreshing. I had this at Elways in the Denver Airport while waiting for my flight to get cancelled so I could stay the night in Denver instead of getting where I needed to be.

Appearance: beer is a hazy orange color, pours with a small beige head that quickly dissipates Aroma: creamy, earthy, grass, has a sort of stink to it too though like rot Taste: pine bitterness, the malt is barely there as just a cream flavor, has a very weird rot taste to it that's pretty faint but you definitely notice it, citrus Palate: highly carbonated, leaves bitter aftertaste, light mouthfeel Overall: something is wrong with this beer, I don't know if it's a bad batch or it's always like this but I'm really not a big fan of it ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear, golden, red with a small tan head. Floral, pine resin, bit of citrus. Quite bitter initially, with honey sweetness peeking through now and again. Medium body, oily texture, alcohol is a bit present. Quite good.

Draft at the Breckenridge brew pub. Pours very clear copper with a thin, fizzy white head. Tastes musky, hoppy, like dry pine and grapefruit. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like hops and sweet malt.

12 oz. bottle. Appearance: average sized white head, small bubbles, amber-golden color, great lacing. Aroma: floral, resin, herbs, grass, molasses, earthy, leaves. Palate: light body, lively carbonation, sticky and somewhat dry texture. Taste: very nice sweetness at the front with a bit of malty sense, followed up by a drying hoppy bitterness that does not linger too long. Overall, I really like the balance of this beer and the transition from sweetness to hoppiness; not the best tastes, but smooth and unique aromas.

"pours a bright orange color with a medium sized soapy head which dissipates dramatically, but leaves some nice lacing. The aroma is of citrus hops with some pine resin with a hint of honey and some sweet malts. The taset has a nice bitterness upfront, some tangy orange and pine in the initial flavor with a grapefruit aftertaste with some spice and earthy type hops present as well. The mouthfeel is very medium bodied for an IPA, very drinkable!"

This is a well balanced ipa. Itís not obnoxious and it is very sessionable. It has kind of a smoky hint that I enjoy. Goes well with anything.
