We like to think this is an ale for everyone who believes you make your own luck. We sure did. And the result is a well-balanced, soulful IPA with just the right amount of hoppiness. An even keeled ale that goes down clean and refreshing, but still lets you know itís been doted on by the Brewmaster. Itís true to itís IPA heritage, but also highly drinkable. Lucky U. And we seriously mean that.

Clear, golden, red with a small tan head. Floral, pine resin, bit of citrus. Quite bitter initially, with honey sweetness peeking through now and again. Medium body, oily texture, alcohol is a bit present. Quite good.

Draft at the Breckenridge brew pub. Pours very clear copper with a thin, fizzy white head. Tastes musky, hoppy, like dry pine and grapefruit. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like hops and sweet malt.

12 oz. bottle. Appearance: average sized white head, small bubbles, amber-golden color, great lacing. Aroma: floral, resin, herbs, grass, molasses, earthy, leaves. Palate: light body, lively carbonation, sticky and somewhat dry texture. Taste: very nice sweetness at the front with a bit of malty sense, followed up by a drying hoppy bitterness that does not linger too long. Overall, I really like the balance of this beer and the transition from sweetness to hoppiness; not the best tastes, but smooth and unique aromas.

"pours a bright orange color with a medium sized soapy head which dissipates dramatically, but leaves some nice lacing. The aroma is of citrus hops with some pine resin with a hint of honey and some sweet malts. The taset has a nice bitterness upfront, some tangy orange and pine in the initial flavor with a grapefruit aftertaste with some spice and earthy type hops present as well. The mouthfeel is very medium bodied for an IPA, very drinkable!"

This is a well balanced ipa. Itís not obnoxious and it is very sessionable. It has kind of a smoky hint that I enjoy. Goes well with anything.

Nice fruity bouquet with more citrus to taste. Flavor is fairly balanced between the bitter and sweet citrus. Not a stand out but pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice resinous smell, fairly strong scent. Very cloudy, tons of sediment. Very yeasty, mildly hoppy, an odd beer. Dry bitter aftertaste, medium bodied. A bit of yeast overkill, maybe a bit more balance would be nice, good to try something different with the IPA style. - Rated with Beer Rater for Windows Phone

Poured this a touch warm with a smallish to medium size, cream color head that soon settles and some lace. Color is a clear medium honey amber with some bubble trails. Aroma is hop, butter, spice, resin, wet cardboard, hint of malt. Flavorís a little like nose, tang and hop bitter stand out, some of the flavors clash. Bodyís ok, carbonation a bit strong. Finish is like flavor, long in the resin. Not all that easy drinking.

From a bottle into a shaker. Hazy gold with thin white head. Diminished aroma, a bit of citrus. Mild flavor, some bitterness on the finish. Looking for more "IPA" character here... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
