3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A nice IPA if you gravitate towards the woodsy/earthy type. Moderate bitterness with a malty mid-palate. The finish is smooth and fruity.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle to shaker - light copper with a thin head. Has a light hoppy aroma but has a metallic taste that just doesn’t belong in an IPA. Seemed more like your typical foreign lager. One is enough.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours deep amber, with a modest head that holds. The aroma is piney and malty, but a little flat. Very malty, with a thin hoppy finish.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Canned and enjoyed from the can! Dark orange color with small creamy white head and spotted lacing. Smell is a bit grassy, not as floral or fruity as I like. Taste is a bit more malty/nutty than fruity but still enjoyable. Nice carbonation. Was excited to have a BB beer in California.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The color of this beer is a slightly hazy amber with a large white head that fades steadily, and the aroma blends floral hops with light malts. The taste is mildly bitter and slightly sour, and the palate fuses a slightly sticky texture, medium body, bitter finish, and an average carbonation.

2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 11/20
Breckenridge Lucky U IPA is pretty solid but nothing special. Slight hop aroma coming from a murky amber pour and nice head. Taste is pretty one-dimensional for an IPA -- just a solid hop character with piney notes and a pleasant finish. Lucky U is an IPA that goes well with a meal and is a decent session ale.

12 ounce bottle drunk out of the bottle, some hops in the aroma, a bit of grass and slight malt in the taste. decent but nothing extraordinary, probably would not drink again unless someone handed it to me

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Reviewed from notes. Consumed April 13, 2013.
The appearance is a cloudy orange body with a one finger white foamy head rises and falls leaving some clingy spider web lacing.
The smell has some faded hops and malts somewhat bitter yet combined for the most part.
The taste is a bland bittersweet through previously mentioned flavors with a dry sweet aftertaste and a dry finish.
The palate is a light to medium, and somewhat sessionable.
Overall, well, Im not sure how fresh this is, something seems off, so until then I’ll only seek fresher.

Bottle. Pours unfiltered gold. Nondescript nose, some malt overtones. Little bit of hops bitterness up front but they don't really stand out. Medium mouthfeel. Decent but nothing special
