COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We like to think this is an ale for everyone who believes you make your own luck. We sure did. And the result is a well-balanced, soulful IPA with just the right amount of hoppiness. An even keeled ale that goes down clean and refreshing, but still lets you know it’s been doted on by the Brewmaster. It’s true to it’s IPA heritage, but also highly drinkable. Lucky U. And we seriously mean that.

A hazy lazy amber colored ale. With a rather aggressive pour I wasnn’t able to produce much of a foamy crown. The crown is a slight beige color and leaves some sticky lacing. That being said the appearance is rather plain and boring. Aroma is toasted caramel malts with a light hop bouquet. Hop essence seems all over the place. Taste, yeah pretty good. There is sweet malts providing a nice balance to the hops. Hops have a nice citrus and floral taste. Not as flavorful as one might expect. I need to pay more attention to usable date. Taste is a little weak across the board. This beer is smooth and easy drinking, it’s only lightly bitter. With the exception of the appearance this is a really fine ale.

On tap at the Walnut Room. Very tasty beer, with a light aftertaste that makes me want to order more. Maybe it's not how IPA's are supposed to be but this is how I think IPA's should be. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a golden yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is musty peppery spice. Taste is lightly sweet up font followed by a floral peppery hop presence. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is very floral with hops and pine. Pours orange with a nice white head. Taste is pine and kind of malty for an IPA not much bitterness. Pretty good IPA.

Spelt (222) - East Kingston, New Hampshire, USA - APR 27, 2012
Floral and herbal hob notes. Light orange and very clear with persistent white film after full head. Nice belgian lace. Very nice bitterness, not biting or harsh. Kind of between British and American stylistically. Flavors of fresh bread tucked in behind the parsley-like hops. As advertised quite drinkable but not overly complex.

12 oz bottle Colorado beers have always been special to me. This IPA is average and not up to the standards of others in CO like Great Divide Brewery. The ale poured a cloudy honey color with a reasonable head and lacing down the glass. The nose had some floral and citrus notes. The ale had a nice bitterness that stayed with each sip. The medium body ale had average carbonation. The finish was smoooth with some pleasant bitterness. A very drinkable IPA but not exceptional.

Pours orange-amber into the glass, lots of sediment at play, with a frothy eggshell head that dissipates, leaving soapy lace. The nose is very nice, of farmhouse silage. Flavors are reserved in the malt category, but show forth a nice copper-tannin bitter that lingers appropriately in the finish. The palate is medium-light, a bit lighter than my liking, but provides an easy quaff. I just wish the mouthfeel had more substance, but for a pre-summer outdoor brew, I won't kick it out. Hoppy and smooth, it works for what it tries.

Very disappointed Breckinridge, you need to start over on this one. Blech.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium off white head, with some lacing, over a clear amber (SRM 8) body.....nose is caramel/toffee, light pine grapefruit...taste is light toffee/caramel, leading to a lingering citrus hop bitterness....mouth feel medium, carbonation high. This is a simple IPA with minimal depth to either the malt or hop backbone. The malts need a bit more oomph to offset the almost harsh hop bitterness. BJCP 6/3/12/4/6
