This one is good but certainly not great compared to the others brewed locally. Not bitter enough and to metalic for my taste.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 4, 2010 Pours a somewhat murky amber into the glass with a tiny white head. Aroma is caramel malt with a hint of citrus hops. Not really what I’d expect from an American IPA. Much resembles its cousin from England. Bitterness is assertive, but malt still shines through. Balanced and drinkable. CaptainCougar (5547), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 2, 2010 Bottle: Pours a clear copper amber with a spotty-lacing froth of off-white head. Has a fairly fresh citrusy hop nose with some light pale maltiness. Starts semi-sweet with decent body and good resiny assertive hop flavor and bitterness tending toward a drier, crisp, piny bittersweet finish. An enjoyable and drinkable IPA. jport4087 (102), Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 22, 2009 Bottle pours a hazy copper with a thin white head. The head is deminising. Leaves a good lacing though. Aroma is spruce, some bread, and a touch of caramel. Has a decent carbonation. The flavor is soft but mildly hoppy. Very clean. Not as bitter as I like but its there. Has an oily texture. The body is medium. Has an alright finish with a mild aftertaste. This isn’t bad but lacks the hoppiness I love. JPDIPSO (4944), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 21, 2009 Amber to orange in color with a small id of tan bubbles. Caramel aromas with a bit of floral to citric hops. HInts of fruit in the background. Light sweetness balanced by a citric bitterness that grown into the finish and linger. Quite woody in the linger. Has a fresh hop bite that I can appreciate. I don’t think it is as balanced as they propound, but I find it does have a bit of authenticity. Ughsmash (4102), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 20, 2009 Bottled. Poured hazy medium orange with a short cap of whitish head that was clumpy when resuscitated. The aroma picked up sweet caramel and dry, crusty bread topped by Pinesol, spicy pine, and peppery hoppage.. almost juicy. not bad. The flavor found sweet caramel at the core with pine and peppery bitterness around.. soapy, especially as it warmed up.. finished with a moderate, non-directional bitterness. Medium-bodied with a sharp, bitter overall impression.. some decent stuff in here, but it didn’t come together. WabashMan (817), Noblesville, Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 18, 2009 While a bit one-dimensional, this is a perfectly decent IPA with a nice medium copper color and good hops character. It won’t blow you away, but there’s nothing bad about it either. Lacking a Two Hearted Ale or something of that nature, this will do just fine.
