Decent floral hop aroma with some citrus notes. Pleasant.
Taste is clean citrus and floral hops. Not too bitter but a nice balanced IPA that is easy to drink. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Moderately bitter finish
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 crazyvin (1692) - New York, USA - MAY 18, 2013
A nice copper body with a frothy bone color head that had nice retention and lace. Initial aroma had a mix of caramel malts and some mild bread notes. Hops were mostly grapefruit but there was a slight floral note. Flavor was nice and sweet and gave way to mostly grapefruit notes and while there was a generic bitterness to it, but it seemed to heavy on the grapefruit side of the hop spectrum. Finish was slightly dry and easy to drink. Light on the palate.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Boutip (3971) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 17, 2013
Bottle: Poured a dark orangey/amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of bitter citrus notes with semi sweet malty notes is quite nice. Taste is a mix between some semi-sweet malt backbones which is fuller then expected with some citrus notes and a medium bitter finish. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Hops profile is not as explosive as I would have been expected with more residual sugar then I usually like in my IPA.

Thin head of very fine off-white bubbles with light carbonation. Aroma of decaying leaves, tea, light nuttiness, fresh hay and some piney hops. Color is a dark copper brown. Dry and somewhat pasty flavor with lots of earthy flavors, more spruce and some dry and dirty malts. A bit of bitter tea leaves and grains. Not a very good drinking experience.
