Commercial Description:
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

bottle acquired in a trade with The Captain. thanks Mark. pours a very dark brown with a one inch cap of tan head on top. smells very much like chocolate chip cookies. nice deeply roasted flavor with some dark chocolate detectable. palate it slightly on the thin side until after you swallow, then it leaves a thick sticky residue. the flavor is pretty good but I don’t know if I would drink it again due to the mouthfeel.

Tap at Pour 24 in Vegas. Dark pour. Dark malty flavors. Some coffee bitterness in there along with a little bit of sweetness. Average stout, but still enjoyable.

Bottle. Poured a dark brown with medium tan head with short life. Aroma was nice, dark roast with some floral notes. Flavor was of dark roasted malt thats not very heavy. Palate was somewhat water, I expected that at least the oatmeal would give it a better feel, but I was somewhat dissapointed. Overall it’s not a bad stout.....

Pretty small beer for a stout. Dark brown pour, small tan head. Nose of coffee, chocolate, dark malts, Taste similar, finishes with coffee, no real hops. Average mouth feel. Actually, pretty average om every way.

Pours dark, almost black. Huge, continuously bubbling, frothy, dark tan head. The head lasts about 5 minutes. Aroma of nastly startches or something. Flavor is good to make up for it. Flavor contains like roasted malt primarily, but the roasting is highly detectable. Mouthfeel is milky and thick Interstingly enough, the oat taste does come out in the finish.

Large amounts of roasted and chocolate malts make this a very flavorful beer. Too much chocolate malt and not enough oatmeal in my opinion. A beer with such a strong chocoalte malt presence also should have more alcohol/malt flavor to help balance and this one did not. Overall a very flavorful stout just not the right balance of flavors for me.

One of my favorite styles so this was a disappointment. Brown to black in color with a ok head. Just a touch of oatmeal in the aroma and taste. Some sweetness with coffee flavors.

12oz bottle. Dark brown with 1/2 inch light brown lacing head. Sweet raisin, mild oatmeal in aroma. Deep malt at first lead to bitter finish. Cola-like with coffee flavors, I can barely taste the oatmeal. A touch watery. Good, but not great.
