Commercial Description:
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

Bottle. Pours a very dark black / brown. Nice looking, thick beige head. Aroma is slight roast coffee, maybe a touch of chocolate. Flavor is burnt coffee, touch of chocolate. Bitter to a point that I didn’t want to finish the bottle, ended up dumping the last 40% of the bottle.

12 oz. Black with a medium head that lasts. Chocolate oatmeal cookie aroma. Flavor of cocoa, slight charred wood, and metallic herbs. Palate is light-medium and watery with a dryish finish.

Pours a dark brown color with a thick tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, coffee and a hint of vanilla and chocolate. Taste matches the aroma. Nice bitter ending. Body is a little thin though. Average.

Dark brown pour with little to no head. Roasty malts, chocolate, oatmeal. Very typical of the style. No discernable flaws. An average middle of the road stout. OK.

Deep brown, bordering on black. Thin beige head. Very typical stout aroma. Roasted malts, coffee, semi-sweet chocolate. Medium bodied with a sticky/creamy texture. Pretty good, but nothing spectacular.

Deep reddish pour; opaquely black in the glass. No lace remains after the airy head quickly fades. Simple scents of Dutch processed cocoa powder, jammy briarfruit, and subtle diacetyl. Similar in flavor… super fruity and redolent with dark berries and green apple… bittersweet chocolate and a buttermilk tang. Thinnish, creamy mouthfeel, almost milky. Chalky and malic aftertaste. Just okay, nothing more. I’m unimpressed.

This was a nice beer...almost porter like. I could drink this beer on a cooler night.

Dark pour of course, creamy and somewhat roasty. More sweet and milky than I care for. Nothing stands out about it, nothing is offensive about it either.
