Commercial Description:
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

1 Pint, 9 oz bottle - Pours a dark brown with hardly any tan head. Smells of oatmeal, slight coffee, and a little alcohol. Taste is almost exactly the same. Too watered down and not thick enough to be a great stout for me - also at only 5% alcohol - it should be hidden better. There are many better stouts out there.

Remarkably creamy, oily oatmeal stout. Neatly defined like like 8 Ball stout. No annoying sweetness and heavenly dry finish. I drained poured Breckenridge proper ale so I was surprised for the need to deliver props on this one. Bravo.

Draft at Old Chicago in Coralville, IA. Poured an opaque black color. Head was two fingers high and tan with good retention and lacing. Smelled of milk chocolate and vanilla. Slightly sweet up front with a nice roasty bitter finish. Tasted of milk chocolate and lightly roasted malt.

Poured a dark black with a small, thin brown head that was creamy. Light lacing. Chocolate, coffee malt flavor that was medium. Flavor starts lightly sweet, then becomes a medium to heavy burnt malty flavor. Body was light, thin and slightly oily in texture, Low carbonation. Has a slightly bitter finish. An enjoyable beer and I liked it. However, it seems to be a bit thin, and the bitterness becomes a bit much for me to want another one. Still, a nice beer and its definitely worth giving a shot. If you like beer dark, thin and bitter this would be the beer for you.

Bottle. Got this beer in a Breckenridge variety pack. Quite pleased with this one, very good all around. Enjoyed this beer outside on a muggy summer day and for an oatmeal stout, it was quite refreshing. Good ratings all around, another great Breckendridge beer.

Mild aroma of coffee and general roastiness. Pours dark brown with a nice little tan head. Flavor is again roasty, not complex. Creamy in the mouth with a dry finish.

Hints of chocolate and coffee, and slightly bitter. It has a nice black color and it poured with a slight head.
