Commercial Description:
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

Nice aroma, hints of oats and vanilla, not a great head. The taste is almost a burnt taste, not very good. Also a very thin stout.

Dark mohagany with ruby hues. Creamy tan head leaves thick sticky lace.

Aroma is malty and chocolaty coffee.

Flavor is deep, dark roasted coffee, with some sour milk.

Mouthfeel is creamy smooth.

Finish is medium long and slighty sour

12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquor - Pours a clear dark brown color with a 3/4 finger thick light tan head. Aroma is dark malt, coffee and oats. Flavor is bitter chocolate, coffee, and grain. Palate is thin and bitter. Light to medium body. Worth a try, I guess.

Tap. Pours black, with a thick pillowy, rocky tan colored head. Good looking beer. Aroma is faint, chocolate, coffee, roasted malt. Flavor is a let down after the appearance, roasted malt, bitter chocolate and coffee. Palate is medium bodied, watery, mildly carbonated, bitter finish. Yawn.

pours muddy black with a average rocky light brown head. arom is cookies roasted malts and dark chocolate. Flavor starts ballanced twords the bitter side, roasted malts and chocolate finish is again more bitter and long with roastyness comming through. Medium bodied, watery and softly carbonated.

12 oz. bottle. Very nice, sweet smell of milk chocolate with hints of coffee and raspberries and a slight hops bitterness. A pronounced, overwhelming yeast aroma emerges as one continues to sip. Pours a near black color of moderate opacity with a bright orange hue and an ordinary amount of short lasting, dark tan head; nice lacing. The primary flavor is coffee bitterness, which is surprising given the sweet aroma. Simplistic but nice. Long, very bitter coffee aftertaste. Light body. Smooth, as one would expect from an oatmeal stout. The beer looks and smells better than it tastes, but it nonetheless is enjoyable.

On tap @ Brew Kettle: Dark brown to black with a dark tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, some chocolate, and oats. Flavor, chocolate, coffee, and oats. Medium bodied, some bitterness. Solid.

Pours a nice dark brown with a thin carmel head. A little mocha in the aroma but definantly not what I expected. Flavor is the same. Finishes strong with a bitter lingering aftertaste.
