Commercial Description:
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

This beer started out with an aroma and taste very strong coffee like with the alcohol coming thru. Other thing that was rememberable was the lace. However didn’t finish strong.

Bottle. Surprised the brewer says it has a creamy body--I though it was pretty dry. Pours black. Rocky, tan head. Medium body. Above average--just not an all-star.

Black, as in only the faintest brown highlights show when held directly to a 100 watt bulb. Thick creamy brown head. Coffee and cocoa aromas. Black roasted malt, burnt sugars, dark caramel and some dark chocolate. Silky smooth and coating.

Bottle poured black with light head and lacing. Aroma and flavor is roasty malts, chocolate and coffee. Thin body with a taste of metal on the finish.

Great color, but overall less than impressive. Opens with a malty, coffee flavor that gives way to a semi-bitter aftertaste.

Pours almost black w/ a medium semi creamy froth that stick to the walls leaving snail tracks the way down. Nice thick lacing w/ a full dusty canopy. Aromas of mildly roasted malts and a pinch of charcoal. Full nectar w/ velvety residual effers. Nice! Moderately roasted, thick and creamy, fantastic. No sweetness at all. Bold cocoa, raosted coffee bean, molases. I love this stuff. Theres a defined bittering on the finish w/ a perfect souring component. Perfect balance. The bitter cocoa really lingers on the finish. Highly recommended.

Nice aroma, hints of oats and vanilla, not a great head. The taste is almost a burnt taste, not very good. Also a very thin stout.
