COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

Ignore the label, this stout is indeed forgettable. The aroma has a light scent of coffee but not exactly captivating. The appearance is watery. It’s dark with zero head & little carbonation. The palate is thin - too thin for a stout. The taste isn’t bad. It has some nice roasted notes in it & finishes fairly bitter. An ok beer but I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it again.

12 oz. bottle that I received as a gift from my sister and her husband. Pours dark brown, close to black, with a thin-moderate tan head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of roasted malt with a few notes of mocha. The flavor is slightly watered down roasted malt with a bit of tobacco and coffee. Dries out a bit towards the finish. Lacks the creamy body I expect in an oatmeal stout. This one is a bit thin actually. So so.

Pours an opaque black with a thin head of light brown foam. Nose is molasses, coffee and malt. Nice and creamy on the palate. The taste is dark roasted malt, coffee, a hint of bittersweet chocolate. A hops note lingers on the tongue to give a nice dry crisp finish. Overall, a very good stout that can be enjoyed with deli sandwiches on rye.

12 oz bottle, Smiley’s Beverage, Dover, NH. Aroma of very faint semi-sweet chocolate and cream. Taste is chocolate, oats and coffee. Sweet and roasty. Finishes creamy, then transitions dry. Maybe it wasn’t fair to rate this after the imperial stout I had a few hours before this one. Flavors seem muddled. Just ok.

From notes: Pours ink-black with a small, caramel-colored head. Aroma was mild, consisting of coffee and grain notes. Medium-bodied, but with a touch of oilyness. Flavor was of coffee, with grainy notes mixed in. As it warmed, the grain became more pronounced.

Had on nitro draft at the brewery in Denver during GABF.
Aroma: roasted grain, malty>br> Taste: the flavor followed the aroma
Kind of boring. I don’t know if it was because it was on nitro or if my palate was off, but this was not very good.

Pours a two-finger light tan head that fades slowly and leaves some lace. Deep brown color, no highlights. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Nose is roasted coffee and flavor is roasted to burnt coffee. 12oz bottle $2.29 from Julio’s Liquors Westborough, Ma.

12oz pour, almost pitch black with creamy off white/tan head. had decent lacing on the glass. aroma of dark roasted malt, picked up on the coffee and chocolate undertones, the flavor is pretty much the same. you get that roasted maltiness with the coffee and the chocolate is sublte yet distintive. towards the end i could taste the oats or oat flakes.

Bottle. Great nose of coffee and chocolate. Pours very dark with a cinnamon head. Great flavor -- rich and dark, but not over the top. A good all-weather stout.
