Commercial Description:
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

Nice dark color with a lightly frothy chocolaty head. Aroma is prety subdued. Flavor starts malty and lightly sweet has some chocolaty tones, lightly sour and bitter before finishing with some espresso tones. Thin but drinkable. Has some good flavors, but not enough, and the bitterness doesnt quite blend.

Bottle. Pours a deep black body with a medium off-white head. Sourish malt aroma with notes of fruit, chocolate, and coffee. Bitter chocolate flavour and pretty creamy. Seemed a little bit thin at times but there’s still substantial coffee bitterness and sourish malt. Nice.

Rich coffee nose, chocolate and pit fruit, deep brown, pours a small tan head. Taste is coffee, chocolate and like the aroma some dark pit fruit. Medium bodied, a roasty, dry bitterness. Really fine! Thank You mds!

Bomber from BeerandBlues2. Pours black with a thick, tan, mousse-like head. Lasting cover, nice lacing. The aroma is roaste, molases, chocolate and oats. The flavor is oatmeal, sweet chocolate, roasty. The mouthfeel is very soft and creamy. Nice.

Pours black with a creamy dark brown head. There is a lightly roasted aroma and a flavor that is roasted yet smooth and mild.

Had a 2 ounce glass of this draft as part of a 6 beer sampler at the brewery. Pours to an opaque dark brown, with thick tan head that lasted thru all the other tastings (this one was last), and excellent lacing. Aroma was a pleasant blend of oatmeal and malt. The flavor was a good mix of chocolate and toffee, all blended with the malty sweetness. Unfortunately, despite the excellent appearance, the body was fairly thin, which led to a slightly watery finish. This beer could have been better, after the initial start.

Ok, I’m new to this rating thing, so I didn’t catch some of the subtle flavors that other raters described, but here’s what I thought: nice, black appearance (makes Guinness look light), with a thin, fading brown head. The aroma is not too strong, and is bittersweet. Has a nice bitter flavor to it, sort of resembling dark, black coffee, with a slight sweetness. FInishes a bit more bitter than it begins, sort of biting the back of your tongue, but still with a good taste. Very smooth palate; thick and creamy. Good overall stout, in my opinion.

Coffee, mollasses, caramel and toffee in a relatively creamy texture. finishes somewhat burnt and bitter, but not offensively so. OK
