Jul 5, 2005 Sampled with Tim, Rudy, and maybe Sammy. This rating is barely legible. Aroma is metallic chocolate with a slight sweetness. Opaque dark brown color with a creamy light tan head. Chocolatey, roasty, and slightly astringent. Boring.

Jun 29, 2005 Nitro tap poured very dark black with a big creamy amber head. Aromas of roasted malt and oats. Mouthfeel was very smooth and creamy. Flavors of roasty malt and dark chocolate.

Jun 28, 2005 Bottle - this was my first oatmeal stout of any kind, so take this for what it is worth. Excellent frothy head that lasted until the end of the beer. Excellent mouthfeel, very refreshing.

Jun 21, 2005 22 oz. Bottle enjoyed on the golf course: Pours a dark brown with a diminshing tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, light coffee and chocolate. Flavor was mostly choco-roast with some hop bite near the finish. Mouthfeel was lighter that I would’ve liked, but still had a bit of chewiness to it.
