Commercial Description:
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

A pleasant stout. Not spectacular, but enjoyable. Black, brown around the edges, deep tan head. Aroma faintly of chocolate, good coffee note without being acrid. Flavor matched, lightly liqour oriented, more chocolate than coffee. Nice stuff.

Brown color. Soft aroma, with hints of prunes, raisins, chocolate and espresso. Dry and roasty (not sweet at all), with a pretty harsh acidic and overly bitter malt bite.

Black, opaque, with oily tan head. Aroma has notes of creamy coffee, vanilla, roasted malts. Flavor has a fair amount of coffee notes and bitter malts, with a touch of sweetness. A decent brew, but falls short of a truly good stout.

Deep brown / red colour. Tobacco coloured head. Smoky almost rauchbeer like aroma. Flavour had hints of licorice and burnt caramel.

12 oz bottle pours deep dark brown with a fluffy tan head that laces. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel, and coffee. Flavor is more sweet milk chocolate, some coffee, and a touch of oatmeal. Medium/Light body for a stout a touch on the watery side but very drinkable and another pretty nice offering from this brewer.

Toasty grain aroma with a bit of chocolate. Had a light brown head on a near black body with hints of ruby. Flavor is full of roastiness and some smoke. Also has a sweet granola flavor. Very smooth. Definitely not a bad stout, but Ive had better oatmeal stouts.

Pours inky black with brown medium head that lasts well but doesn’t lace very well. Nose is caramel, coffee, aromatic. Flavor is chocolate, sweet, coffee, oatmeal comes out, as well as some black olive. Medium sweetness. Rather thin mouthfeel, but overall very good and I think underrated.

Black in color, tannish brownish head. Somewhat astringent, especially for a sweet stout. Somewhat dry, lightly burnt chocolate. Meidum bodied. Eh, it was okay.
