Commercial Description:
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

Bottle in variety pack. Blackcherry color, no head and not much lacing but a great stout in Flavor and feel. Burnt Malt, Tobacco and just aright level of carbonation gives it a tangy first impression with a smooth finish

Black in color with a small beige head. Aroma is of oat, chocolate and raosted malts. Taste is the same but is kind of weak.

Pours black, beige head. Nose of chocolate and oat, some minor roasted malt and wisps of smoke. Flavor is more oat, minor roast bitterness. Very watery palate, way too much so for the flavors. Pretty mediocre beer.

12 oz. bottle at Lunar Brewing. Dark black/brown pour with a bubbly, dark tan head, and decent lacing. Aroma notes of coffee and dark chocolate are modestly present together with some roasted malt and a touch of bread. The flavor adds some malty/semi-sweetness along with some mild hop bitterness. An unfavorable harsh note was present in the flavor. Medium body, and not too creamy as I would have expected with the presence of oatmeal. Just okay.

Pours...black with a medium head. Nice roasted malt/coffe flavor. Not sure where the oatmeal comes in but this is one of the nicer dark beers I have had. Real nice finish, no bitter taste like some darks have.
