COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

strong coffee aroma with much sweetness. Over-roasted malt flavor with much unwanted bitterness. Unbalanced and acrid. Finish is short and unpleasant.

Poured dark of course Large creamy tan head. Subdued aroma of malts. Taste like biter coffee. This maybe a bit too cold. Odd bread - yeast like after taste. Good lacing as the head settles. Thin mouth feel, with an unpleasant bitter, more acid after taste.

Tosa Tasting ala 1FastSTi. Chestnut to ruby color with a small tan head. Coffee and mocha aromas with a mild undertone of grain. Fairly thin in feel. Dark chocolate and caramel flavors followed by a rather harsh acidic bite.

Shared at the Tosa Tasting courtesy of 1FastSTi: Has a nearly opaque dark chocolate appearance wtih a thin off-white head. Aroma is semi-sweet and roasty but subtle. Body is thin for a stout but has nice milk chocolatey and caramel malty flavor, balance, and drinkability. An average sweet stout.

Sampled at MrFacto’s ’Tosa tasting, courtesy 1FastSTi. Dark brownish body with red highlights, thin/medium cream head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, and touches of brown sugar and caramel. Toasty body with chocolate and brown sugar, quite light, with hints of diacetyl. Thin-bodied. Eh...

Dense dark brown in the glass with a minimal light brown head. Aromas of coffe. Tastes are a bit more complex and warming: coffee, dark chocolate, and a sweet malt. Very full in the palate, with a long bitter finish. An assertive sweet stout, drier than most.

Pours a dark brown, small off white tan head. Aroma is choclate, and bread. Flavor is similar with cherries and a little dark choclate. Palate is smooth and oily. Thanks to 1FastSTI for this one!

Aroma is rich and malty. Flavor is roasted malts and oatmeal with some coffee. Thick and smooth body. Not too shabby especially considering the sub-par beers I have had so far from this brewery.

Expectedly dark, thin head. Nose bit of cocoa and raisin. Not much flavor, some chocolate, vaguely roasty, a bit of raisin, but kind of stale and bland. Just not much going on, boring stout.

Dark black with a thin head. Slightly sweet aroma, but it gives off the first warning of a musty and bitter beer. Yup, tastes like a little chocolate syrup poured on a wet floor mat. The goodness is burried in there somewhere as I can vaguely find the malts and sweets, but it’s overwhelmed by nasty bitterness. Bummer.
