fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jan 11, 2007 Dark brown to black color. The aroma is light, coffeish. Medium body, with a flavor based on carmel and roasted malt, but quite well mixed. Pleasant Stout. argo0 (6861), Washington DC, USA Jul 27, 2004 Big beige head atop a red-clack body. Aroma is medium sweet, roasty, coffee, some chocolate. Taste is mild sweet, roasty coffee, some chocolate, finishes coffee bitter. Some hops in there as balance. Medium body, somewhat creamy. Not very sweet for a sweet stout. DJMonarch (6036), Northwich, Cheshire, England Aug 21, 2009 Sampler at the Breckenridge Brewery 2220 Blake Street, Denver 08/10/2008
Roast aroma. Small beige head. Black fruity and smooth on the palate with a crisp and dry chocolaty roast finish. MesandSim (5790), London, Greater London, England Sep 15, 2007 A Sim rate (on tap at the Flyng Saucer Houston): Nice sweet aroma of oatmeal and dark chocolate. I just wish it was stronger. Opaque appearance with amazing lace. Bitter, bitter chocolate flavour. Bitter finish, but in a fascinating appealing way. Thick and oatmealy palate. Really enjoyed this one.
