Draft at the brewpub. A dark brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is buttery combined with notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of butter and roasted malt as well as a light note of oatmeal. The body is thin.

Bottled@Monks Café Porterhouse, Stockholm. Very deep amber colour with small beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, berries, ashes, some caramel malts and mild coffeeish notes as well. Flavour is roasted malts, caramel malts, mild coffeeish notes as well as some ashes and dark fruits. Balanced and rather nicely balanced.

Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Black, beige head. Mild coffee aroma, Mid-dry, soothingly roasty espresso with cream atop but no sugar. Medium bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. Slight salty bitterness. Harmonious and well balanced.

Big beige head atop a red-clack body. Aroma is medium sweet, roasty, coffee, some chocolate. Taste is mild sweet, roasty coffee, some chocolate, finishes coffee bitter. Some hops in there as balance. Medium body, somewhat creamy. Not very sweet for a sweet stout.
