Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 8, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. A dark brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is buttery combined with notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of butter and roasted malt as well as a light note of oatmeal. The body is thin. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 12/15/1995

argo0 (6176), Washington DC, USA Jul 27, 2004 Big beige head atop a red-clack body. Aroma is medium sweet, roasty, coffee, some chocolate. Taste is mild sweet, roasty coffee, some chocolate, finishes coffee bitter. Some hops in there as balance. Medium body, somewhat creamy. Not very sweet for a sweet stout. fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jan 11, 2007 Dark brown to black color. The aroma is light, coffeish. Medium body, with a flavor based on carmel and roasted malt, but quite well mixed. Pleasant Stout. Rastacouere (5270), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 18, 2005 Lasting beige head covers the entirely black body. Not much is happening here, but I like the way the oatmeal rounds the otherwise not very elegant roastiness and floral hints. Insufficient date and anise suggestion are quickly walked over by the roasted malts that complete the palate with a charcoal flavor. Light-medium bodied, smooth carbonation.
