COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

Pours almost black w/ a medium semi creamy froth that stick to the walls leaving snail tracks the way down. Nice thick lacing w/ a full dusty canopy. Aromas of mildly roasted malts and a pinch of charcoal. Full nectar w/ velvety residual effers. Nice! Moderately roasted, thick and creamy, fantastic. No sweetness at all. Bold cocoa, raosted coffee bean, molases. I love this stuff. Theres a defined bittering on the finish w/ a perfect souring component. Perfect balance. The bitter cocoa really lingers on the finish. Highly recommended.

Pours cloudy black with deep dark brown head. Very appealing. Nose is rich and full with roastyness and chocolate. Palate is more of the same, thankfully. Big roasty flavors, sweet malt, and some hops in the balance but the focus is certainly on the smoooth roastyness. Very good. Finish is medium and appetizing for the next sip.

Really delicious brew, a great oatmeal stout. The head is a nice beige and has a alluring burnt coffee aroma. It’s dark, pushing black and tastes of chocolate and hints of caramel. Well balanced with a nice finish.

Pours dark with a dark foam head that dissipates, light can barely get through this. Smells of roasted oat malt, hops and a little chocolate. Taste somewhat bland, lots of hops for a regular stout. Actually does has a roasted oat malt aftertaste making it one of few oatmeal stouts that Actually Taste like Oatmeal! Becomes more creamy, smooth and tasteful as it warms the hops are more prominent when cold. Pretty easy to drink and enjoyable. Better than anything else I’ve had by Brekenridge and probably my favorite 6p Oatmeal Stout. Too many other companies get adventurous and make Oatmeal Stout’s that are sweet and just don’t contain any type of grainy flavor.

Subtle Aroma, almost too subtle. Dark black color with a little bit of light able to shine through. Great subtle flavor. Very pleasing to the palate with smooth beginning and finish. Overall a great beer that tasted great all the way through.

Deep brown/black with light brown head. Medium-to-strong aromas of molasses, maple syrup and oatmeal. Oily on palate; thick viscosity with flavors of oatmeal, roasted nuts and maple. Light hops with a slightly sour finish. Delicious-great for a cold night. Would also make a good beer float.

12oz bottle poured in English pint - This beer pours a completely opaque brown with a frothy brown head. It looks delicious! It has the expected oatmeal aroma but nothing particularly adventerous there. It has a good oatmeally and roasted barley taste a with definite coffee base. It has a good lingering aftertaste that is warming and pleasant. There is no hint of the metallic aroma or taste that some oatmeal stouts have.

Bottle - this was my first oatmeal stout of any kind, so take this for what it is worth. Excellent frothy head that lasted until the end of the beer. Excellent mouthfeel, very refreshing.

Pours a rich, appetizing sable-brown with a thick tan head that persists for a bit. Aroma is very inviting, smoky and stouty with a hint of molasses. Texture is not as rich as I expected, but the flavor is delicious and smoky with hints of coffee and brown sugar, and a nice bitter hoppy nip in the finish. I am fond of oatmeal stouts, and if this is not the best one I have ever tried it is still a winner.
