Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

I'm a stout lover, what can I say? This is a little on the light side, for a stout, but nutty. I normally expect a heavy mouthfeel with stouts, but this is more refreshing than heavy. The sweetness that most oatmeal stouts come with is present, complimenting the malt nicely.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2005 The beer that broke my stout cherry...ahhh the sentimental favorite and still holds a place in my heart.

Bottle - this was my first oatmeal stout of any kind, so take this for what it is worth. Excellent frothy head that lasted until the end of the beer. Excellent mouthfeel, very refreshing.

12oz bottle poured in English pint - This beer pours a completely opaque brown with a frothy brown head. It looks delicious! It has the expected oatmeal aroma but nothing particularly adventerous there. It has a good oatmeally and roasted barley taste a with definite coffee base. It has a good lingering aftertaste that is warming and pleasant. There is no hint of the metallic aroma or taste that some oatmeal stouts have.

Pours a rich, appetizing sable-brown with a thick tan head that persists for a bit. Aroma is very inviting, smoky and stouty with a hint of molasses. Texture is not as rich as I expected, but the flavor is delicious and smoky with hints of coffee and brown sugar, and a nice bitter hoppy nip in the finish. I am fond of oatmeal stouts, and if this is not the best one I have ever tried it is still a winner.

Subtle Aroma, almost too subtle. Dark black color with a little bit of light able to shine through. Great subtle flavor. Very pleasing to the palate with smooth beginning and finish. Overall a great beer that tasted great all the way through.

Deep brown/black with light brown head. Medium-to-strong aromas of molasses, maple syrup and oatmeal. Oily on palate; thick viscosity with flavors of oatmeal, roasted nuts and maple. Light hops with a slightly sour finish. Delicious-great for a cold night. Would also make a good beer float.

Nice roasted barley flavor, dry with a touch of chocolate sweetness. Love this stout.

Incredibly, incredibly nice for the ABV. Really. Good stout backbone, and amazingly syrupy for the low ABV. A session stout?

Pours dark with a short lasting tan head. Hop character is noticeable with aromas of coffee, vanilla and bittersweet chocolate. Bitterness strikes first followed by smooth roasted malts, nice palate and penetrating roasted aftertaste
