Commercial Description:
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

Pouredfrom the botle like Hershey syrup with a head. Smokey, woodsy, flavor was not what I expected from an oatlmeal stout, but not without merit.

Pours a dark black brown color that looks like coffee. Has a fluffy tan head and a nose that smells of roasted malt and milk. Tastes somewhat weak mostly just roasted malt and chocolate. Just ok.

Decent Aroma, looks great though. Flavor is a little lacking, as it is not as strong as other oatmeal stouts. Not a very great showing. Others of the style are better.

Pours an opaque black color with a slight chocolate and coffee aroma. Those flavors carry over to the flavor. Creamy and smooth. 12 oz. bottle.

From bottle : Very dark pour with a lot of carbonation, looks like soda, with an offwhite head and spidery lacing. Aroma is slightly faint, but what i do get is some roasted notes, with dry chocolate smells. Taste is roasted coffee beans and chocolate, finishes dry and kinda bland, with expresso notes, not much aftertaste. Kind of a thin body, real light mouthfeel, but has a slick feel with soft carbonation.

dark brown and a thin tan head. aroma of malt and coffee. tasted like chocolate and coffee and maybe a little nutty too. had a strange palate for me and I thought it was a little weak for a stout but it was a smooth drop and I would drink again.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a completely opaque black with a fair frothy light-brown head, decent lacing. Aroma is roasted malts, oats, coffee, chocolate, and a hint of fruit. Flavor is sweet, buttery, roasted malt, coffee, with a touch of bitterness. Mouthfeel is creamy, medium bodied, and bitter at the end. Good beer, drinkable.

Poured dark with a small head. Aroma is of the roasted grains, coffee and a bit of chocolate. Taste is a little bland but the aftertaste of coffee and chocolate is good. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side. Overall, its a decent, if under-powered, stout. As the beer warms, the flavor becomes a little more apparent.
