COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

A brown body with a tan head that had good retention and great lace. Aroma had nice roasted malts, a hint of semi-sweet chocolate and a mild smoked note. There was an off-putting hint of soy sauce to the aroma. Flavor was good. There was a nice roasted malt flavor. There was some chocolate notes, but overall it was a generic roasted malt flavor. Had a great mouth feel. Slightly dry finish.

Bottle. Pours a black color with no head or lacing. Taste has what you would expect from an oatmeal stout but very basic. No complexities here. ----Hophaze out

Great toasty oats note, full bodied taste with some overly sharp notes. Almost absent head, mild aftertaste.
