Commercial Description:
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

Poured from the bottle into a double-walled pint glass. Pour produced an opaque brown-black body topped by a large, rocky light brown head of foam. Good coffee aroma. Bitter initial flavor with a light mouthfeel. Palate has a roasted coffee note to it, though I don’t detect much else. This is a great looking stout that meets my expectations for an oatmeal stout, and is quite drinkable, though it doesn’t quite stand out as being exceptional.

I’ve tried numerous oatmeal stouts now and this takes the cake so far. It is the only one that has had a finish of oatmeal to it. Has a great dark brown head and black color. recommended

Pours jet black with small quickly dissapating brownish head. Aroma and flavor both very dry bitter coffee. No taste of oatmeal. basic.

Draft at the brewpub. A dark brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is buttery combined with notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of butter and roasted malt as well as a light note of oatmeal. The body is thin.

just the appropriate amount of roastiness here, with a creamy mouthfeel, melted dark chocolate, and a graham cracker maltiness. Very drinkable and balanced. I enjoyed it!
