Subtle hints of citrus round out the complex aroma of Mosaic hops, for a beer so drinkable, it’ll last through multiple acts.

Pretty good, it’s like an IPA that’s been held in check by the wheat flavors so the bitterness doesn’t hit you as hard. Still much more hoppy than wheaty. Its sister beer Pandora’s Boch is much better.

from notes: Draft pour at harvee’s in Pilsen. Golden orange cloudy look. Wheaty taste hit has nice hops to it that make it drinkable to me. Sweet and orange aroma. Average at best

Transfer from BA review on 3-15-14- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a very hazy golden color with a thick two finger head of a pure white foam. The head has a fantastic level of retention, fading slowly over time to leave a nice level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the beer is heaviest of some bready smells mixed with a good dose of wheat and a moderately strong spice aroma. The spice is mainly of a coriander and clove nature with some hints of thyme as well. Along with these smells comes some nice hoppy aromas which are mainly of a grassy nature, but contain other smells of a floral nature as well. With a little bit of yeast and some lighter citrus sweetness mixed within the aroma, a very pleasant and inviting smell is produced overall. Taste – The taste begins with a more cracker and biscuit malt flavor with some citrus orange sweetness upfront. As the taste moves on however, the wheat detected in the nose starts working its way onto the tongue. While this occurs some of the sweeter citrus is replaced by some hop flavors of a grapefruit and grassy nature. Some lighter floral hop flavors join the taste along this time and are accompanied by some yeasty flavors as well. While the grapefruit hop was the strongest of the hop flavors initially , the grass and floral tastes take it over at the end. With a slight increase in the wheat and a bit of a more grainy flavor that comes at the very end, one is left with a somewhat crisp and lighter to moderately hopped, wheaty flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average to slightly thicker and chewier side for a beer of only 5 % abv. with a carbonation level that is rather average. The chewy body is good for the wheat flavors of the beer as well as good for accentuating the mix of hop tastes. All the while the moderate carbonation does well for the citrus, yeast, and lighter abv., making for a very enjoyable and still refreshing feel overall. Overall – I actually really enjoyed this brew. It was very drinkable and very flavorful with a nice blend of hop, wheaty malt, and just enough sweetness to keep it all in line.

Bottle from grind. Pours pineapple with very little white head. Leaves a little bit of lacing. Has a bit of citrus on the nose. Has some citrus on the tongue without a lot of bitterness. Finished clean. Solid beer.

12oz bottle 9/28/14 (Binny’s Naperville Mix A Six)-40° in Shaker-Pours a murky orangish amber with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, wheat, and hops. Taste of the same with some malt coming in. This light bodied brew is not bad.

Interesting pale gold pour w/ tons of unfiltered sediment floating around & a thin white head that leaves lacing. The aroma is of light hops & some malt. The taste is clean w/ a nice hop bite at the finish. Good twist on a wheat & makes this fairly enjoyable!

It’s a hoppy wheat, but nothing special. Subtle citrus notes with typical wheat beer flavoring. Grassy finish.

Bottle from Steve’s in Fitchburg. Pours an unclear pale golden with a bit of a white head. Some lace. Aroma has light citrus, straw and a bit of bread, plus later some tangy spiciness shows through. Taste is lightly sweet malt, some fruitiness and lemon. Finishes light and sweetly lemony. Not bad for style and pleasant enough for a summer day. 12.9

Hazy golden and blonde coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall white head. Aroma of bright citrus and PNW hops with some good wheat notes, a hint of curacao and coriander seed and some subtle yeastiness at the end. Medium-bodied; Definite wheatie flavour with some subtle sweetness of honey and curacao and a little bit of hop bitterness at the end, but nothing pungent. Aftertaste is nice and relatively smooth and one-dimensional, but that isn’t a bad thing with this one - true to the style. Overall, a nice wheat ale with some curacao, honey and of course hoppy notes to go with the typical wheatie and coriander seed freshness. I sampled this pint on draught at Cheeky Monk in Denver, Colorado on 08-June-2014 for US$5.99.
