3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Sweet nose of caramel and toasty malt along with a very light touch of floral hops and dark honey. Clear medium-dark amber color with a slight, subsiding head. Flavor is similarly malty and sweet, more toasted, sugary caramel and vague hint of dried fruit on the finish, which also shows a negligible amount of bitterness. Smooth and low in effervescence on the palate, body is medium. Easy to quaff, nearly as easy to forget.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught@RNH. Clear amber color, small off-white head. Barley, fruit sugary aroma. Light bodied. Really watery for this ABV. Light sweetish flavor, honey, green apple, short harsh finish. Quite far from the normal bock.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Location: 12 oz bottle from Giannone, 11/10/13
Aroma: The aroma is fairly sweet, caramel, brown sugar, some molasses, and earth
Appearance: It pours a dark reddish color with a long last beige head and lots of lace
Flavor: The flavor is medium-heavy sweet, quite malty, a little roasty, and a very mild hop
Palate: The body is light-medium, feels a touch watery and a little cloying, with a short finish
Itís a little thin and a little too sweet overall. Not terrible, just not a well-rounded offering. Lacks balance.

One of the better breckenridge beers. Decent balance. More watery than I would prefer.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a dark amber with little head and carbonation. Aromas of dried fruit (banana) and sweet malts. Interesting flavor profile. A little too sweet, but I enjoyed this as being different.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate-heavy fruit, raisin, apple, and a touch of caramel. It pours a hazy/cloudy dark amber with a small off-white head that quickly fades to a very fine ring around the edges of the glass. After a few minutes, it looks still. There is minimal lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a light chocolate/caramel combination. The finish has moderate fruit, light raisin, roast, and a hint of apple. Itís medium bodied with virtually no carbonation. I wouldnít quite call it flat, but that description isnít far off. Overall, the lack of carbonation is really hurting this one.
