Draft as 2220 Red Ale at the brewpub. A red-brown beer with a thin beige head. The arom is sweet with primary notes of nuts. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of nuts, but also light notes of caramel.

On tap at Breckenridge Ballpark poured a clear dark reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, fruittiness and a hint of fruittiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of fruittiness, carmel and light earthiness with a crisp fruity finish.

Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear dark amber. Finish is lightly acidic, moderately bitter, husky. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, metallic. Unpleasant grainy and metallic aftertaste, otherwise acceptable.
