Draft at Columbia Ale House. Golden with persistent white head. Clean aroma of grassy hops. Distinctly pilsner but with a malty palette and boozyness not usually associated with the style (hence Double). Nice grassy floral hop flavors. Finish is hops and enjoyable bitterness. Very nice.

Cloudy light orange pour from draft at headquarters. Tons of fluffy white head. Orange and lemon aromas. Taste is hoppy and bitter for a pilsner. Grapefruity and earthy taste. Pretty good. Served a little warm

bottle. Golden with one finger head. A bit sweet, but not as cloying as some double pils that I’ve had. Rather mild hop-wise -- could up these a bit, I’d think. Pretty good for a somewhat hard to find style.
