12oz bottle. Big alcohol laced aroma, sweet and doughy. Peach-orange color, just a hint of haze. A touch of buttery honey, doughy malt tones with a soft noble hop balance. Rather subtle and mellow, despite the sugary ABV. OK.

Deep gold in color with a thin white head. Malty with a hoppy finish and a bit of a honey-like sweetness. Still, seems light for its alcohol content.

12oz. bottle. Sweetly malty and lightly hoppy aroma, sugary and lightly spicy, with some lighter herbal, grassy tinges and toasted white bread character. Clear medium golden color with plenty of bubbles and a fine, white head. Flavor profile is sweet and mildly alcoholic to start, turning hoppier about midpoint and featuring some mildly peppery, grassy notes, and finishing with a blend of mild bitterness and lingering crackery malt sweetness. Mouthfeel is fairly thick, nearly syrupy, with a mild degree of effervescence and a medium body. Could use a bit more dryness and a slightly more assertive hop presence. I only purchased the one bottle, which is good, because I think it might be hard for me to finish a sixer of this stuff.

This beer is much more like a pilsner to me than anything else. A watered down one at that. It hides the alcohol very well. I smell hops, slight wheat smell and not much else. I taste slight wheat, and a small amount of hops. I do not recommend this beer really unless you really want to rate something bad.

ruskiimperial (308) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JAN 25, 2011
Poured a clear golden yellow with almost no head at all. Aroma, though not strong, has some earthy hoppy characteristics. The taste is a mixture of sweet malts and very earthy hops. The sweetness is a bit too strong at times and takes away from this being a good imperial pilsener. The beer is not terrible, though there is nothing particularly notable about it.

Bottle. Poured with the simple visuals of an any day pilsner. Almost no head. The aroma, however, is HUGE! The beer drinks with a definite kick, rich with full-on malt and near-distillery-strength alcohol vapors. Very nice. (#4061, 1/23/2011)

Bright gold color with small white head and light lacing. Aroma is hugely fruity and hoppy. Flavor is nice and malty with light hops and a grassy taste. Really good overall

Bottle 355 ml
Aroma fruity rich feel of malts with slight hint of alcohol. Light hint of hop. Quiet proper if you compare this to Polish Mocne beers not Strong pilsners.5+
Appearance dark golden look with medium light , bright white top. Some lace shown.3+
Flavor and Palate : Medium plus bodied. Very nice malt profile , soft approach , Bohemian Pils like. Neatly rounded with alcohol not being very evident. Good finish with streak of bitterness. Refreshing and true.

Bottle: Pours a clear deep golden with a spotty-lacing coating of white head. Has an authentic pilsner nose with some fresh grassy saaz hoppiness. Starts with pretty good fullness and light malty sweetness with a crisp floral saaz hoppy balance before a drier bittersweet finish. Well done and true to style.

Fairly pronounced aroma of honey. Clear amber, thin head, good lacing. Initially, malty with lime overtones but finishes grassy with a little grain. Not your typical pilsner, or even imperial pilsner, but a damn fine beer. Superb crafting!
