From a bottle this color leaves no inkling of the flavor. Looks like a pale lager but has a piercing hop bite that approaches many strong apa or mild ipa. Long bitter super strong pils finish. Lasts a medium amost of time before the finish mellows out. Does not hide the alky well, even at 7%. Not much in the aroma.

Pours hazy yellow-orange with a small, off-white head. Scent is malt, orange hops, florals...a little lemon. Taste is slightly sweet....with bread, toffee, fruits. Slight hint of alcohol bitter alongside the increasing hop finish. Not bad, jst a little plain.

pours a gold brown .. mild head, lacing is pretty good .. . smell is awesome, jamaica shwag and copper .. . very nice mouthfeel . . . its no problem for me, but its a problem for you .. . good crispness- something i need in a pils . .. a very nice beer and probably in the top 3 from breckenridge .. . .
you used to sell tractors .-. yes, but he didn’t know that!

JDBaker11058 (1211) - Maryland, USA - NOV 12, 2012
Appearance: deep clear gold with a short, fizzy white head that quickly shrinks to nothing, and very little lacing. Aroma: grassy and slightly floral, with notes of pepper and grainy, crackery malts. Taste: toasted white bread, lemon zest, dried hay, with big grassy, floral hops. Finish: slightly bitter from the hops, with a little malty sweetness underneath. Notes: Totally fine. Tasted exactly like what you’d expect: a regular pilsner with more hops and more malt. Even with the bigger flavors and aroma, it was still pretty drinkable, palate-wise.

Clear golden in color with soft white head. Moderately hoppy aroma for a pils. Taste is quite hoppy up front, full flavored pils; really an excellent pils

Gold pour with a white head. Nose is hoppy, bitter, light alcohol, and earth. Nice on the palate, fresh earthy hops, bitter, florals, and a nice finish.

gnoff (7666) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - OCT 7, 2012
Draught as part of a flight, at the Breckenridge tap room, on October 6, 2012
Hazy golden color, white head. Perfume, sweet, alcohol taste. Spritzy mouthfeel, medium low bitterness. Malty and lemon scent.

Bottle to pint. Looks decent; a transparent gold with white lacing. Smells and tastes semi-sweet, doughy, and mildly hoppy with an average mouthfeel; not much of a snap for a pils though. Alright.

Beerenberger (1373) - Fischer, Texas, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Grainy aroma. Pours a golden amber with a small non-lasting white head, good lacing and lots of rising bubbles. Taste is malt forward (cereal) with a nice hopped bitter finish and aftertaste. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Overall, this was ok, but not exactly the Pils taste I was expecting.

For a ridiculous style to begin with, this particular example is one of the better ones. Retains many of the characteristics one would expect to find in a Pilsener- cracker-like Pils malt and spicy hops with subtle (clean) fruity notes arising from the delicate simplicity of Pils malt and Noble(ish) hops. I would buy again if it was $3-4 cheaper.
