Clear light orange pour with a thin white head. Aroma is lager-ish, kind of sweet malt with a bit of hop character. Flavor is sweet biscuit with a nice bitter bite. Good imperial pilsner. 7% is hidden nicely.

jcos (1571) - Maryland, USA - AUG 16, 2012
Location/Date:Bottle on August 16th, 2012.

Appearance: Pours an opaque orange.
Aroma: Aroma is of sweet malt, very faint pine hops.
Taste: Medium light bitterness, buttery lagerness.
Palate:Medium light body, light aftertaste, some fizz.br/>
Summary: With Imperial Pils they really need a strong hop character..the one on this one was just okay.

Bif (1559) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 15, 2013
Pours a slightly hazy pale golden color with a small head and bits of lacing. Aroma of citrus, some malt sweetness, grain and bit of spice. Taste of citrus, mlat sweetness with a bit of honey, some grain and what seems like a trace of pepper. Nice bitterness, and a clean finish. Failry light body, crisp, clean and refreshing. Enjoyable pilsner with a bit of character and zest.

Beerenberger (1538) - Fischer, Texas, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Grainy aroma. Pours a golden amber with a small non-lasting white head, good lacing and lots of rising bubbles. Taste is malt forward (cereal) with a nice hopped bitter finish and aftertaste. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Overall, this was ok, but not exactly the Pils taste I was expecting.

Bottle. Clear yellow, tall white foamy head. Slightly musty hop aroma, high carbonation, malt balance. Refreshing and a good overall pilsner.

guzzler67 (1527) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - APR 18, 2012
Clear, bright gold appearance with a small white head and decent lacing. Grassy aroma beneath the sweet malts. Grainy flavors, offset by summer fruit and followed by herbal and citrus hops. A hint of corn in the aftertaste limits the sensory pleasures on the palate. Overall, though, a more interesting, more complex pils then the run of the mill.

On tap at World of Beer UCF. Pours a dark golden yellow with a white head and aroma of hops and floral notes. Taste is of hops, floral notes, and wheat with a hoppy finish.

Pours a cloudy, golden color with a white head. Aroma is of floral hops, citrus hops, and some caramel malts. Flavor is of caramel malts, some slight breadiness, and some citrus hops. Slight alcohol finish that isn’t too strong.

JDBaker11058 (1359) - Maryland, USA - NOV 12, 2012
Appearance: deep clear gold with a short, fizzy white head that quickly shrinks to nothing, and very little lacing. Aroma: grassy and slightly floral, with notes of pepper and grainy, crackery malts. Taste: toasted white bread, lemon zest, dried hay, with big grassy, floral hops. Finish: slightly bitter from the hops, with a little malty sweetness underneath. Notes: Totally fine. Tasted exactly like what you’d expect: a regular pilsner with more hops and more malt. Even with the bigger flavors and aroma, it was still pretty drinkable, palate-wise.

Chipalsa (1310) - Florida, USA - APR 6, 2012
Lots of bubbles in this clean yellow body. This brew was a tad metallic in the scent and taste. Sip after sip that dissipates, leaving a solid bready-malt character in which fruity esters come out as well. Very drinkable, only I wish the serving sizes were bigger.
