Hazy gold with a nice fine-bubbled head and rows of lace. The taste is light wheat and citrus with only the silghtest hint of hops following a touch of carbonation. Pleasant and unassuming, not much in cold weather; probably great after mowing the lawn on a hot August day.

Lost 12 oz. bottle from the back of the beer refrig., and poured to a shaker with a slightly hazed, light gold color, a modest, white head, and spotty lacing. The aroma and flavor were both light graininess, with light lemon & orange hints. Low hop bitterness, good carbonation, and light bodied. Past the lawn cutting season, but still an okay hydrator.

bottle. pours murky gold with white head and some lacing. Aroma is wheat and skunky hops. Taste is mildly sweet and equally bitter. light to medium body with thin texture. Trying to say something nice, but it is just as hard to say something negative; this is just bland. The price was right ($3.99 for a 6pack) and I don’t regret it. This beer would be perfect for a BBQ party indeed. Not sophisticated, but does the job.

Pours yellow with a thin mostly receding white head. Notes of mild pale malt, light citrus and lemongrass. Thin bodied with moderate carbonation. Very mild, but certainly drinkable.

Very refreshing summer beer. I love frosty cold wheat ales on a summer day. I know I’m reviewing this beer in November but this summer I kept my fridge stocked with this brew at all times. The wheat presence is going to be dominant but that’s to be expected I really enjoy the hop complexity to this brew. Hints of floral and citrusy hops are all over the palate. Not extremely hop by any means mind you but just enough presence to make you stop and think about it as you drink this beer. Finishes crisp, clean, and refreshing. Great beer, definitely one I’ll look forward to next summer.

hazy yellow, small white head, somewhat lacy. nose of musty malt, perhaps some corn. flavor of mild malt, touch of corny sweetness. medium bodied, very dry finish. summertime ale? i’ve never heard anyone say "dry your whistle" @ a summertime party.
