djd07 (720), Houston, Texas, USA Nov 6, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow golden with a medium frothy white head that leaves decent spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is a light wheat and citrus. Thin mouthfeel with a light bitter hops and citrus. Easy to drink, a decent wheat from Breckenridge. bpreo (12), Colorado, USA Nov 3, 2009 Very good, awesome beer. Perfect taste, nice and light. Not just a summer ale, great for any time of the year, especially on a cold and snowy day. Get it if you can! jb (1023), Rochester, New York, USA Oct 21, 2009 Not a big fan of these American Wheat thangs. Just the wheat aroma, no subtleties, i.e. no bouquet, just aroma. Somewhat tangy, citrusy palate is a tiny bit interesting. Okay. By the way this was clear yellow, on the pale side. Cybercat (776), Georgia, USA Oct 14, 2009 Pours a rather typical clear straw yellow with a thick but not persistent white head. Aroma is fairly strong, crisp and malty with a yeasty undertone. Flavor is about average, malty and slightly fruity but nothing special. Texture is smooth, a little tingly and a tiny bit on the watery side. Still, it was a nice bit of sunshine on a nasty rainy day. Ron (1000), Rochester, New York, USA Oct 12, 2009 A clear light gold pour with a white head and moderate carbonation. Aroma of hops and wheat. A floral flavor with hop tartness and some honey. Crisp and refreshing. Somewhat dry. Cletus (4999), Connecticut, USA Oct 3, 2009 Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells toasty and earthy. Tastes of citrus, some light earthy hints. No real wheat presence in this one. Bland. eboats (887), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Sep 26, 2009 Given the stated goal to be the perfect ale for summertime quaffing and nothing more I would say they had some success. This beer has drinkability, and little flavor. You could quaff pint after pint of this with more flavor than you would be with BMC. Block (363), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA Sep 15, 2009 Hazy yellow pour. Aroma of citrus and grass. Somewhat bland but it does have a citrus wheaty character.
