COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The brewmaster's goal: the perfect ale for summertime quaffing, nothing more. SummerBright is the result. The craftsman's touch combines white wheat, two row pale and munich malt with the pacific northwest's most intriguing hops to create a bright, clean ale ideal for picnicking, evenings on the screen porch and enjoying the whims of the summer breeze.

Not a lot going on here. A nice light summer beer that can be gulped. A very slight aroma of bread. The flavor is slightly sweet with a hint of spice. It’s a little thin. Looks good though.

Disappointing from Breckenridge. I suspect "clean" in the commercial description is marketing speak for "nearly tasteless". Nothing bad, just not much of interest.

A very light color with a nice sized white head. Nice lacing around the glass. Smell of citrus/lemons and grassy wheat. Taste is mildly refreshing but not a whole lot going on. Not terrible but not great either.

Pours opaque gold into a Sam glass. Bright white head with little retention recedes leaving scant spots. Marshmallow and lemon aromas. Soft with marshmallow, lemon and wheat. Lasting dusty yeast finish.

Appearance: Pours a hazy yellow gold with a tight white head. Not much in the way of lacing or spots left on the glass.

Aroma: Bread dough, straw and citrus zest.

Taste: Kolch-style yeast, biscuity breadiness, very low amount of hop bitterness, almost none.

Mouthfeel: Thin, crisp.

Overall: A very light beer with a bit of it’s own character that every so slightly sets it apart from the rest. I’d still take a hoppy low alcohol pale ale to this style of beer for summer drinking.

I was expecting this to be a witbier or something like that but it’s a blond American wheat w/ some flavoring added. It’s a bit on the bland side and somewhat oversweet. Texture is sort of heavy and doesn’t have enough carbonation to stop it from feeling flabby. Mild tartness and some small amount of citrus zest flavor are the only things interesting about this.

Aroma of lemon, light orange, hay, wheat and honey. Appearance is gold with 1/4 inch white head. Flavor has lemon tartness with a little orange peel; the finish is slightly bitter hay. Palate is bubbly. A little dull for me, but not unpleasant.

Slightly refreshing but overall this was not an enjoyable experience drinking this beer. No orange/lemon flavor.

below average beer; it’s just there - has the slightest of citrus but just buy a macro...

Bottle @ home. Somewhat cloudy, yellow appearance with a white head that dissipates pretty quickly. Wheat malts, yeast, and a fairly healthy dose of bitter hops in the nose that’s really not very pleasing. Light bodied, thin wheat ale flavor, light yeast, citrus fruits, and pretty bitter hops. Really one of the worst American wheat ales I’ve had.
