on to the good stuff. A nice dark almost black color. A good yellowish head. Sort of a mix of dry and sweet stout flavors.

Ernest (6143) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 24, 2005
Draught, Breckenridge by Coors Field, Denver. Head is fully lasting (nitro). Body is dark brown to black. Aroma is lightly malty (roasted grain, nuts, chocolate), with hints of licorice and vanilla. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery/creamy texture, soft carbonation.

Rastacouere (6119) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 10, 2005
Lasting beige head, dark cola coloured hue. Hazelnutty malts procure a dark chocolate feel that leafy hops somehow passes easily. Interesting, if mellow, developing date, anise, cigar and cola notes take form among the evolving roastiness, but everything is too subtle and there’s a bit too much tartness to my tastes..

The final beer in my tasting round. The head was still there after an hour! Amazing. Lighter body than other stouts I’m used to. Marvelous bitterness with loads of grapefruit. Smooth roasted flavor with a goodly amount of hops. Delightful.

Terminus (3216) - Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA - JAN 6, 2005
tap at downtown Denver Brewpub-pous black with a beige head from the nitro tap. I detected hops in the aroma with a slightly sweet chocolate note. good chewy body. Slightly hoppy finish along with the chocolate notes. somewhat oily also. not a bad nitro brew.

harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - OCT 12, 2003
Another one from the brewery. Pours black as night, with almost no head and some tan lacing around the sides of the glass. This one would go really well on a day that you are out in the backyard grilling. Slightly oily, with a burnt kind of day old coffee taste and very full-bodied. Worth a try.
