On tap. Pours a black brown color with a large creamy thick beige colored head. Kinda looks like Guinness. Nose is cat shit, star fruit, and hypnotique liquor. Taste is fruity and chocolaty. Thing watery mouthfeel with back end alcohol.

Another one from the brewery. Pours black as night, with almost no head and some tan lacing around the sides of the glass. This one would go really well on a day that you are out in the backyard grilling. Slightly oily, with a burnt kind of day old coffee taste and very full-bodied. Worth a try.

Had on tap at the brewpub on Blake. Poured a dark black color. I never really got anything which stood out about this beer.Flavor is sweet and it goes down smooth.

On tap into a pils glass at the flying saucer in San Antonio. Has that pretty, cascading nitro look. Thick foamy tan head. Dark dark brown, that I coulnít see any light through. Smells of leather. Tasts of coffee, burnt malt, and leather, perhaps unsweetened cocoa. Not as sweet as it should be. There is a tannin bite to it that isnít particularly pleasant. Ok I gues, but kind of a let down.

Draught, Breckenridge by Coors Field, Denver. Head is fully lasting (nitro). Body is dark brown to black. Aroma is lightly malty (roasted grain, nuts, chocolate), with hints of licorice and vanilla. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery/creamy texture, soft carbonation.

Rastacouere (6119) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 10, 2005
Lasting beige head, dark cola coloured hue. Hazelnutty malts procure a dark chocolate feel that leafy hops somehow passes easily. Interesting, if mellow, developing date, anise, cigar and cola notes take form among the evolving roastiness, but everything is too subtle and thereís a bit too much tartness to my tastes..
