2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20 dnstone (1984) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - NOV 2, 2012
Deep brown-black with possibly the best head ive ever seen on a beer; thick off-white mousse-like head that lasts forever. Taste is a bit odd; a bit lactic, approaching tart with slight stout roast character...not overly pleasant.

On tap at the Fort Worth Gingerman. Pours black with a nice brown head. Aroma is very burned, coffee, and bitter chocolate. Taste is not near as big as the smell. Creamy, milky, chocolate, a little bitter.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Ungstrup (26250) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 7, 2008
Draft at the brewpub. A pitch black beer with a faint brown shine under a thick brown head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of roasted malt, but also light notes of butter. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt and butter, and the body is thin. In my opinion they shouldn’t have sold this specimen.

Black with great head. A great pour of a beer, compliments to the brewpub. Very watery. Taste is too much like coffee for me. Too much aftertaste. Reminds me of a porter not a stout. My wife loves it and won’t stop talking about it.
