COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Demanding beer for demanding beer drinkers -- that's our Pale Ale. We craft this American pale ale with hearty amounts of pale and Munich malts, then balance it with lofty amounts of hops throughout. It's a finessed version of hop-head fun -- a black diamond beer without the bumps and dangerous curves.

malty nose leads to well balanced flavor with enough hops for the style and maybe even then some. i could almost do without the soft malty palate but balance is deserving of its own accolades within this style.

Pours hazy golden brown with a small white head. Aroma is light, citrusy hops and a little bit of lemongrass. Flavor is fairly light as well with a little pale malt flavor as well as a bitter finish to go with the slightly citrusy hop flavor. OK.

12oz bottle. Filtered golden-orange color, small fluffy head. Mildly sweet hop aroma. Middle of the road hoppiness with a sweet malt backbone. Has some decent tastes up front, but finishes quite watery. Hyper-sessionable, but lacks much complexity. Not bad, but not so memorable either.

Not bad....hoppy aroma, with some hints of pine and resin. Flavor was similar to aroma, with some malty backbone. Nothing really stood out, but there was nothing terrible about it.

Pours a cloudy, very dark golden/yellow/orange color, smells of hops and grains. The hops are very prominate, not much head, nice on the palate, bitter hop aftertaste

A golden ale with ahtin lacing white head. A light malty aroma with restrained hops. In mouth, a nice crisp ale with nice light c-hops. A good starter for the sampler rack! Medium bodied. On tap at Ballpark brewpub 24 Jan. 2009.

Very hazy blonde ale with a slight head and not much lace. Plenty of grassy hops in the aroma. Plenty of lemony citrus in the flavor, sort of a weird sweetness. Overall nicely bitter. It’s pretty good.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow-amber with a small white head. Aroma of malt and a bit herbal. Taste of malt, hops, grass, and pine. Lingering grassy-malt flavors. Drinkable.

The pour is a cloudy orange with a lasting white head and nice lacing. Real grassy hop aroma is more reminiscient of an IPA but whatever. Grapefruit and piney hop flavor. A bit of caramel sweetness in the background but the story of the day is those hops.

Pours a nice slightly dull honey with a 1 finger chunky white head that has decent retention. An interesting aroma, caramel malt, mostly pine hops, some floral, and a sweet grainy malt character I would guess from the munich malts because it seems german. Flavor is caramel malts and plain biscuit at first, citrus and planty hops, grainy malts and more caramel in the middle. FInish is mostly pine and bitter with a sort of burnt caramel fade. Not bad but not that good.
