3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Chill hazed dark golden color with a tight smallish head. Citric/orange aroma. Medium body. Light Maris Otter malt flavor coupled a sharp bitter finish that tends to also be somewhat citric/orange. I should most likely let this one warm up to see how it changes, but I was thristy. One of the better bottled domestic english pales I have had.

Good everyday summer brew. Slight but decent hoppiness to it. Average

I thought that this was terrible. Skunky smell, medium hoppiness and some malt that didnít blend well at all with the rest of the beer for me. Poor aftertaste too, probably the worst pale Iíve ever had.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thick foamy head, dark gold, almost cloudy. Excellent heavy lacing. Crisp lemony hop aroma. Well-balanced, with nice sweet clean malt profile. Med hoppiness in flavor, with light bitterness. Very drinkable but on the whole unremarkable.

This was pretty good stuff. My roomate didnít like it so he sold me three bottles for 2 bucks. It reminded me of a wheat beer. I will for sure drink this again.

Not sure if anyone could top the rating before this one, so I will just agree with everything Indra said. This had a nice spicy aroma and had a consistently good aftertaste, although somewhat íwhite-breadí overall impression. There are more distinctive pale ales out there.

A new beer from Breckenridge, and it is the almost obligatory Pale Ale style. Flowery, hoppy aroma. Nice fine carbonation and a slightly hazy darker gold color. A touch of sweetness mingles well with the other lightly malty flavors and the fruity, British-style hop blend. The hops dominate the rest of the way through, especially the finish, which has just a tinge of sourness...something Iíve detected in other beers, mostly American, of this style. The typical American Pale Ale sharpness and bitterness are not there, definitely marking this as English-style. That said, I like this beer okay, but itís not really unique. It sort of reminds me of the Great Divide Denver Pale Ale, which is funny because less than 5 miles separate these breweries, if memeory serves (I like the Great Divide better, heh).

Well, I liked this one a lot...especially drinking on tap at the brewery
across from Coorís field I also liked the bottled version but it wasnít nearly as
Now, it is a moot point as theyíve changed the formula and call it a pale ale. Dropped on
my like-o-meter a heck of a lot. :^(.
