3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Indra (2361) - Overland Park, USA - JAN 17, 2002
A new beer from Breckenridge, and it is the almost obligatory Pale Ale style. Flowery, hoppy aroma. Nice fine carbonation and a slightly hazy darker gold color. A touch of sweetness mingles well with the other lightly malty flavors and the fruity, British-style hop blend. The hops dominate the rest of the way through, especially the finish, which has just a tinge of sourness...something I’ve detected in other beers, mostly American, of this style. The typical American Pale Ale sharpness and bitterness are not there, definitely marking this as English-style. That said, I like this beer okay, but it’s not really unique. It sort of reminds me of the Great Divide Denver Pale Ale, which is funny because less than 5 miles separate these breweries, if memeory serves (I like the Great Divide better, heh).

Another simple pale ale with a bit of hoppy bitterness that fits well with the overall flavors from the malts.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 arminjewell (3107) - Parker, Colorado, USA - JAN 30, 2012
On tap at the brewpub in Breck, CO, pour was clear yellow-orange with white head, aroma brought notes of floral and grassy hops, hints of caramel and biscuit, slight earth. Taste was a nice clean mix of grass, pine and floral notes, hints of sweet biscuit and caramel, finishing fairly dry and very crisp. Nicely done.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 NobleSquirrel (2671) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 21, 2011
Draft at Breckenridge. Pours a lighter amber with a fluffy head. Nose is pretty nice, floral and faint citrus. Some dusty malts as well. On tasting, pretty straightforward pale. Nice level of bitterness balanced by the malt profile. Really fresh and floral. Really enjoyable, actually.

Slight dry hop mixed with subdued malts, don’t get me wrong its a decent APA, its just no where near the greats.

tap at the brewery. This is one of the acceptable members of breck’s otherwise offensive portfolio. Lightly hopped pale ale, grassy, light citrus.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 onceblind (1615) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 10, 2011
Slightly hazy gold, with an aroma of grassy pine hops, very little malt on the nose. Taste brings the toasty malt out, as well as some curious green bell pepper notes. Thankfully that part doesn’t linger too long. Finishes delightfully bittersweet. Odd. Not very hoppy and not very malty, but not "blah". Slightly skunky ripe fruit esters. Not terrible, just wouldn’t reccomend.

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2011 Tap @ Denver location. Golden orange appearance with an off white head. Still citrus hoppy, pale malty nose. Citrusy hoppy, bland pale malty flavor. Boring.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Vikingbrew (193) - Colorado, USA - SEP 22, 2010
Pretty average pale ale with unforgetable flavor. Definitely not enough hops to suit me. It’s sad when companies try to appeal to the masses and distribute just subpar beer when you know they could make much better brew. Try their small batch 471 IPA and you’ll know what I’m writing about
