Start with the perfect combination of organic barley and wheat malts; add top-fermenting ale yeast for a slightly nutty character, and finish with German and US hop varieties. Thatís our recipe for the subtle complexities and extreme smoothness of traditional British Pale Ale. Cheers.

341ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a white head that settles down to some spotty lacing. Aroma is light cereal grains and some hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with some lingering bitter finish. Slightly below average for this style of beer.

Smells surprisingly thickly of dusty malts and thick yeast. Very thick and cloudy looking, quite bubbly and full of lacing, this is great looking. The malts taste lighter than they look and just match up with the bitterness; you notice it but itís not dominant more than anything else, itís just one of the ingredients. Itís a bit thin after the inital tasting but it finishes out quite thick in the mouth. quite foamy in the end. A nice tasting pale ale that is surprisingly complex in mouthfeel and not too bitter to overshoot itsí namesake style. Pretty good.

pours hazy amber with a very creamy head. Aroma is sweet and hopy with notes of caramel. Flavour is nice nice and malty with an excellent hop bite. Very smooth and drinkable. I am very impressed. This is the best organic ale I think I have ever had. Very well balanced and drinkable.

Solid amber colour, solid stick light tan cap.... how have I not committed suicide with all these vuvuzelas? N. Korea is holding their own against Brasil so far. Iím not sure about this aroma - stale crackers, cardboard, all malts. Very mild dark fruits and somehow smells better from a distance. I can taste the smell. Moderately fruity with a very thick feel. Not a bad beer - itís the support of the faint citrusy bitterness that I enjoy the most in this beer. Thick feel, oily mouth, long but subtle malt finish.

Bottled. Sharp, hoppy aroma with citrus notes. Cloudy bronze in colour with a medium sized head. Classic IPA flavour - sharp and hoppy with a lingering bitter finish. Good IPA.

341ml brown bottle. Golden clear colour with a slight tint of orange, has a small white head and traces of lace in the glass. Slight orange aroma. Nutty, grainy start, finishes with a decent dose of grassy hop with hangs on into the finish. Creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied, carbonation is mild. Probably the best beer made at Amberís, decent sessionable quality to this one.

Bottle from 6-pack where the labels and glue combined to make a mess of the bottles and stuck a couple together. Amber with thin head. Cereal and hop aroma; seems to have a chewiness to it. Flavour has a bit of a rough unrefined character to it but a decent body, perhaps a little still, adequate citrusy hops that stay through to the aftertaste along with a light nuttiness if you look for it.

Bottle. Pours a golden / light amber colour with a moderate white head. Aroma of grass / straw. Tastes malty, with a thorough hop flavour palette - moderate bitterness, but lots of flavouring / aromatic hops. Very nice flavour, a definite winner!
