Cask conditioned at Kilverts Hotel, Hay on Wye, Powys. Brownish Copper with cream head. Toasty malt flavours from the start with a sweetish, fruity back-note. Then a green hoppy note comes through. Good depth, lots of flavour.

Cask at Kilverts, Hay on Wye. Deep amber with a moderate off-white head. Looked like a bitter, but tasted closer to a stout - the flavour is dominated by sweet creamy coffee, with a little chocolate sprinkled on top. Decent pudding beer, and a nice surprise to end the night on.

Coffee aroma. Mahogany colour, spongy head. Fairly rich, but slightly drying. Hops are interesting. Better than your average bitter, a lot more going on. Good.
