Unclear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, apple, sour grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sour grass, malt, dsuty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110616]

Cask@GWBCF 2011. Deep ambery golden colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, wood and some mild eggy notes. Flavour is fruits, wood, earth and some mild notes of nuts, malts and yeast.

Cask gravity at Luton BF ’09. Copper with a small white head. Nasty sulphurous pong. Slight sweet maltiness and a faint bitter finish. Had to pour this; it left me feeling nauseous.

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2006. Clear copper colour with a small off-white head. Malty fruity aroma. Sweet malty flavor with some fruity hints. Has a fruity bitter finish.

[Cask at Volunteer’s Arms, GBBF 2006] A hazy orange beer with a light orange head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with flowery notes, leading to a nice bitter end. Nice bitter.

Pint pulled at The Boar’s Head in Brecon (Brecon Beacons NP, Wales) and the brewery’s tap. Poured creamy, settling to a clear amber with a perfect creamy white head. A pleasant flowery aroma. Good bitterness in the mouthfeel with a lingering tanginess and a dried fruit hoppiness.

Tasty wee bitter indeed. Aroma gives a little leom, mainly grassy hops, some honey/floural sweetness maybe. Taste is similar and very drinkable.
