Commercial Description:
Cask; Occasional. Has also been available bottle conditioned.
This 4.3% abv beer is a bronze coloured brew, created using a pale, black and wheat malts and a blend of Progress and dwarf hops. A pleasing, slightly spicy aroma leads on to a gentle bitterness that builds to impressive heights, whilst the malty body shows its depth of character.

Cask (gravity dispense) at Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. Mid brown colour. Mainly nutty malt and subtle berry fruits. A smattering of earthy hops. Smooth mouthfeel. Not too sweet. Pretty decent.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A pale orange-brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is quite light - what is there is sweet with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel and hops, leading to a slighlty bitter end.

[Cask at GBBF] Pale brownish amber. Fruity and lightly ashy. Sweet and medium bodied. Notes of honey and grass. Fairly soft, although perhaps a bit mellow. Rather low bitterness.

Gravity cask @ Reading Beer Festival 2006. Sweet malt and fruity flavours. On the whole not too much happening and a bit thin.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 06. Chestnut, no head. Quite fruity malty beer. Fine, nice red berry. Bit of sourness on end. Fine, nothing wrong with it. Berry is nice.
