2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask at GBBF 2006. A pale orange-brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is quite light - what is there is sweet with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel and hops, leading to a slighlty bitter end.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 06. Chestnut, no head. Quite fruity malty beer. Fine, nice red berry. Bit of sourness on end. Fine, nothing wrong with it. Berry is nice.

Cask (gravity dispense) at Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. Mid brown colour. Mainly nutty malt and subtle berry fruits. A smattering of earthy hops. Smooth mouthfeel. Not too sweet. Pretty decent.

A Mes rate. Cask handpull at the Junction Tavern.
Orange amber colour with no head. Caramel and sulphur dominate. Slightly sourness. Very poor condition. Seriously, if the brewers knew what these guys did to their beer, they probably wouldn’t send anything to the Junction.

Cask, handpump, The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks’ 15th November 2011. Pours bronze in colour with hardly a head of note. There is a simple middling bitterness, but you know overall I find this just a little drab and it failed to hit the mark with me, one of those that would be described as a Boring Brown Bitter (BBB) A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Gravity cask @ Reading Beer Festival 2006. Sweet malt and fruity flavours. On the whole not too much happening and a bit thin.

Pint pulled at The Barn at Brywich in Brecon Beacons NP (Wales), slightly cloudy and brown with a creamy white head. A tangy fruit hop aroma. A very strong yeast and caramal malt flavour with a rich and heavy mouthfeel.
