The color is red mahogany and the head is creamy. The aroma has notes of candy sugar, syrup, malt and hints of smoke. The flavour has sweetness and notes of roasted malt, syrup, rye bread and it is a bit like a hvidtøl, apart some the sweetness. It is more like a cross between a hvidtøl and a Dansih classic. A bit monotonous in the long run.

This slightly sweet dark beer is complex, with hits of winter spices, maybe cloves or nutmeg. Color is dark brown and cloudy. The finish is a little bitter, which rounds out the taste. Good on it’s own, or with dessert.
