Bottle, 2008 Pre-GBBF Chris_o Shindig. Ruby highlighted brown, light tan head with some decent lace. Sticky thick aroma, cough meds, licorice, artifical blackberry sweet. Soft vegital malt flavor, butter and roast around the edges. Tastes better than it smells, but too rough, too estery.

A Sim rate (bottle at Chris O’s): Malty aroma with caramel sweetness. A bit off-putting with its bizarre sweetness. Bitter, fake caramel flavour. Something unpleasant about it. Malty and not great.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Jukkabro (3471) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 3, 2008
Deep dark amber colored, medium sized thick beige head. Strongly sweet and rich aroma with dominating chocolate and toffee, maybe still too obvious one aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is also very sweet and dominated by this toffee-chocolate, still I was very surprised that this has 8% ABV. Aftertaste dries slightly with some caramel still. Too sweet for me.
