Bottle 0.5 l. Bought Humletorvet Slagelse. Color very dark brown with small white/beige head. Aroma dark chocolate and perhaps a little bit of coffee. Slightly bitter, flavors quite discrete - a bit disappointing with the promising aroma. Malty. Dark brown Danish bread. soft carbonated mouthfeel. Neithera bock nor a stout -perhaps e new beer type a - bout.

A Sim rate (bottle at Chris O’s): Malty aroma with caramel sweetness. A bit off-putting with its bizarre sweetness. Bitter, fake caramel flavour. Something unpleasant about it. Malty and not great.

Bottle. Medium high off-white head leaving nice curtains. Clear very dark red brown body, almost black. Roasted barley malt aroma. Mild and relatively sweet roasted malt flavor with notes of caramel and coffee. Low carbonation, short aftertaste.
