Bottle @ RBSG 2014 Grand Tasting. Thanks, Anders. Hazed golden pour with a white head. Sweet tarts, lemon peel, and tart green melon on the nose. Some musty funk, a hint of mushroom, and damp oak. Nice. Flavor is very mildly funky, but tons of tartness and fruit character. Good honeydew, lemon, and tart, underripe peach. Some sweet tart candies, too.

vyvvy (3904) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - JUN 29, 2014
Sampled at the RBSG14 Grand Tasting - Pours milky yellow with a white head. The aroma has cheese, sourness, melons and somewhat lambic-esque. It has a medium rich body with soft carbonation. The flavor begins with lots of funk, some richness, cobweb malt, but the funk overwhelms anything to keep it on track. There seems to be a bit of alcohol noticed which is odd for the lower alcohol in this one. Really pleasing to drink.

Sampled at the 2014 RBSG Grand Tasting, thanks Anders! Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of funk with some sour lemon tartness and a bit of light grain. Flavor combines lemony tartness and light funk with a good amount of earthiness.

Offering shared at RateBeer Grand Tasting 2014 (St. Louis, MO). Pours a hazy yellow hue, decent frothy bright white head with good lacing as a layer, laces ok. Aromas are rich potent sourness, big lemon rind, touches of melon, white grape and yogurt. Farmhouse and yeast elements, a gentle bready feel. Initial is nice and light, spritzy and dry with some firm potent sour jabs. Lactic and lemony, nice tart jabs with some gentle banana, pear and touches of cobwebs. Backend is tart andf dry, a touch of brut with a creaminess, gentle bready malts, fruity esters trail out. Potent nose and sourness, light effervescent with a gentle creaminess. Never acidic, bright profile. Quite easy to drink. Lovely stuff.

Tasted at RBSG grand tasting. 750ml bottle. Totally hazy yellow color. Thin white head. Looks cool. Fantastic huge lemony oak aroma. Good bigger sour taste. Bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Wonderful sour. Some funky gueuze like characteristics. I was very impressed with this one.
